Study – Importance of brushing your teeth
Our parents were right about the importance of brushing your teeth. Here’s why! A study has shown that a white smile and evenly spaced teeth make people more attractive and more desirable to other humans. It is a sign of good health and genetic quality’s. Our teeth are equivalent to a peacock’s tail which aids in the process of choosing a mate.
I study was completed and researchers took 150 models and altered each of their visual teeth appearances. Researchers randomly computer generated and changed each model set of teethes to either discolored yellow, enhanced brightness and along with added spaces between teeth.
They then showed the 150 images to both men and female and they had to choose the most attractive models to the ugliest.
The Results
The results predictably showed that discolored yellow teeth were last on the list and were considered the ugliest of them all, followed shortly by teeth with gaps, this also was considered ugly. However, the models with brightest teeth came tops with being the prettiest of the models.
The top researcher stated ‘Males are thinking about attraction and females are in competition with each other.’ also, its believed that teeth are used to judge childhood illness, diet, age and genetic deficiency.
It’s true teeth are a sign of good health
This study just shows just how important your dental health is and its true your teeth are a sign of good health. Considering all the 150 models were attractive to start, it just shows the impact that bad teeth will have on your appearance and how it can affect potential life partners.
